Employee Spotlight: Interview with Matti Äijänen

Describe your role at Aiforia.

My role is lead developer. I have been coding different Aiforia solutions for about 5 years now, lately concentrating mostly on our new browser-based clinical application.

What is your favorite part about your job?

Interesting challenges e.g. in visualizing the huge amounts of data our AI models generate, and building user friendly and intuitive tools around this data. And exceptionally great colleagues of course!

What's your most memorable moment while working at Aiforia?

Making our AI tools come to life, first time being able to train neural networks completely with our own tools and seeing the results.

What do you do for fun?

Playing guitar, mountain biking, occasional video games, hiking in nature.
