With this integration, pathology departments can utilize Aiforia’s clinical grade, CE-IVD marked AI models or ones built using Aiforia Create, and automatically import the results into Aurora mScope Clinical, with its rich image management, case management, workflow, and reporting feature set.
Pathologists can review the results of Aiforia’s analysis from within the mScope Viewer, alongside patient history retrieved from external patient record systems, macroscopic information from the laboratory information system, and more. Within mScope, pathologists can add additional annotations and measurements, describe and document their findings, and submit their reports, which can be transferred to external patient record systems.
This integration of these two industry-leading platforms allows pathologists to make faster and better-informed decisions, which improve both patient care and pathologists’ quality of life.
“With this collaboration, Aurora mScope continues to solidify its reputation as a truly vendor-neutral solution for digital pathology, allowing pathology departments to easily integrate best-of-breed technologies”, said Dr. Erik Yeo, CEO of Aurora mScope. “We are pleased to work with such an innovative company, and look forward to enhancing our integration with Aiforia in the future”.
“Aiforia’s aim is to provide a platform solution that enables not only seamless use by the pathologist but also seamless integration between different IT systems in digital pathology. Aiforia’s products are built by pathologists, for pathologists and therefore we are excited to advance our portfolio of integrations with a partner like Aurora to cater to this transforming field,” explains Emma Vehviläinen, CMO of Aiforia Technologies.
