Employee Spotlight: Interview with Anniina Manninen

How long have you been at Aiforia, and what do you do?

I’ve been working at Aiforia for almost three years now alongside my studies. I work as a Data Analyst in application development. In addition I’m currently working on my Master’s Thesis for Aiforia on the topic of Self-supervised Learning for Histological Image Representation.

What is your favorite part about your job?

I really enjoy problem solving and creatings solutions in a meaningful context.

What's your most memorable moment while working at Aiforia?

I can’t come up with a single moment but it would definitely be related to the people I get to work with at Aiforia.

What do you do for fun?

In my free time I enjoy outdoor activities, great food, reading books and spending time with my puppy!

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

When I was younger I read pretty much every book about North Korea that I was able to find from the book stores I visited. And then a few years ago I finally visited the border! I found it really interesting.
